Hog fish have shown up. Limit is five per person and they must be 12″ to the fork.
We took limit of Hog Fish two days running. We left the really big ones and smaller ones alone. Tried to stay in the 3-4 pound range. They werre on inside of 3rd reef half way between Hillsboro and Boca Inlets.

The Florida Gulf Red Snapper season is only open for a few weeks each year and we have an awesome trip set up to take advantage of one of the best fisheries in the state. I have put together another trip for this year. I have two commercial charter boats reserved for Saturday June 7th and one commercial charter boat reserved for Sunday June 8th. We will have another kick off barbeque at the farm Friday night June 6th. You can fly into Tallahassee direct from FLL or you can make the drive. I’m sure there will be carpool opportunities. Big success! My mate Sherman Nicks and I put the sailors on quality fish. Ended up with 2 kings (10 & 42 lbs) and 2 Blackfin Tuna (26 & 28 lbs). Our Kingfish was largest eligible fish in the tournament.
